An old man with boomerangs at Cherbourg Aboriginal Settlement in Queensland

I studied film-making at the French National film school in Paris (IDHEC) and a post-graduate philosophy degree in Johannesburg (University of the Witwatersrand). I spent many years producing and directing films in Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia. (see Videos).

I co-curated a museum in an Aboriginal community in Queensland, Australia, for more than 15 years – conceiving, designing and making exhibitions, videos and augmented reality interactive tools. (see Museum Work)

Working in film and television and museums over the years, I have done a lot of writing – fiction and doco film scripts, museum curating, non-fiction publications.

My focus now is on novel writing. I published a dystopian cli-fi novel 'Dronikus' in 2023. I am currently completing my second novel – a political fiction set in South Africa called:  'Mastiff'.   (see My Writing)

I live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
